How it works
A weekly charity lottery, designed to be radically transparent. 100% of every dollar collected goes to a charity chosen by the winner.
1. Buy tickets
Each ticket costs 25¢ and enters you into the current week's draw. You can buy any number — there is no maximum.
2. Choose your charity
At checkout you enter the name of the 501(c)(3) charity you'd want to donate the jackpot to if you win. This is saved with your ticket as your preferred charity.
3. Sunday draw
At the end of each week, a winning ticket is selected using verifiable randomness. Every ticket number, the random seed, and the result are published.
4. Winner has 72 hours
We email the winner. They have 72 hours to confirm the charity they want the donation to go to (their preferred pick is pre-filled).
5. Funds donated
If the winner confirms, we send 100% of the jackpot to the chosen 501(c)(3). If they don't respond in 72h, we send it to our default vetted nonprofit instead.
6. Receipt published
The donation receipt is added to the public transparency log so anyone can audit where the money went.
Where does the money sit until the draw?
Funds are held in a dedicated escrow account separate from operating funds. Stripe fees are the only costs deducted — they are listed on the transparency page for every draw.
